2010 was an exciting year for Gulfwinds Farm. At the Alabama All Arabian Show in Andalusia we cheered for Erte JCA and
Jack Thomas in the Open Hunter Pleasure Division. This was only Erte's second show under saddle and he won his well
attended class, and was Reserve Open Hunter Pleasure Champion

Next was the Mississippi Arabian Horse Association's Golden Stirrup Classic, where Shirazz was Champion and Antonn was
Reserve Sport Horse In Hand. This is always one of my favorite shows to attend. It is a wonderful facility and everyone goes
out of their way to make you feel welcome. Southern Hospitality is alive and well in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. It is a great show
to get our young horses prepared for Region 12

The following week was the Georgia Arabian Horse Association’s Magnolia Classic. This was an exciting weekend for me
because I was able to visit with Madison and Maureen Carter and Bold Medley (one of Heliopolis’s sons ). Madison and Medley
were very competitive in the Hunter Pleasure JTR  division, and now Madison has moved up to ATR. She and Medley are a
tough combination to beat. Jack Thomas showed Erte JCA to win  the Hunter Pleasure Open. Madison and Medley won the
Hunter Pleasure ATR and the ATR Championship. Both showed back in the Hunter Pleasure Open Championship. This was a
two judge show, and each won a Championship and a Reserve!

Finally May had arrived and it was off to Region 12. Although we had more classes to show in this year, our schedule seemed
much more relaxed. Oh So Sympatico and GWF Nadja, below, showed well in their Region 12 Futurity classes

GWF Antonn also had a good show, placing Top 5 (3rd) in Hunter Pleasure Jr Horse
and Top 5 (4th) in Sport Horse Geldings ATH

Finally Summer arrived and so did our foals. First was GWF Mandolynn's filly by ShowKayce. Summer Showkayce is a tall
chestnut with lots of chrome and as sweet as she can be. It was love at first sight

Heli is the first Mare we have bred to Erte since we purchased him. In early July she delivered exactly what we were
looking for, a gorgeous chestnut filly that has it all: pretty, typey, and personality

In the fall we went to the Music City Arabian Horse Show in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, where Erte won Championships in
Hunter Pleasure Open, ATR, JTR.  All this in only his fourth show under saddle. He is truly a performance stallion

Thank you for visiting our website and keeping up with what's new at Gulfwinds Farm. We are a very small farm in northwest
Florida with really nice horses, with excellent pedigrees; that are very well cared for, and very gently trained. Should you
choose to add one of our beautiful horses to your family, you will not be disappointed. They have brains, and beauty, and
personality. They are expressive and tend to trust and obey because they have never had a bad experience with people. We
have horses at every age and level of training and experience. Please call or email if we can provide any further information.
